Hasan Sontas
Dr.Hasan Sontas earned the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Istanbul University in 1999. In 2005, he received his PhD degree at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of Istanbul University. Between 2012 and 2014, he worked at the Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Andrology at Vienna Veterinary University as a senior clinician. In 2013 he received his Associate Professor title in Turkey. Dr.Sontas became a Diplomate of the European College of Animal Reproduction (DiplECAR) in 2014.
He is the author of many peer-reviewed articles and co-author of a chapter in BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Reproduction and Neonatology, 2nd edition.
He is a member of the Communication Committee of the European Board of Veterinary Specialization (EBVS) and the national representative of Austria and Turkey for EBVS. He became a board member of the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR) in 2023. Currently,
Dr.Sontas owns a private practice highly specialized in small animal reproduction in Vienna, Austria.
