Ilona Kaszak graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in 2015. Immediately after graduating, she started working in numerous animal clinics in Warsaw and the surrounding area, and in October 2016, she started doctoral studies at the KNOW Integrated Doctoral School at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She completed her studies in 2019.
Since September 2019, she has been working at the same faculty at the Small Animal Reproduction Laboratory as a research and teaching assistant. In 2019, she also started the European Animal Reproduction Residency (ECAR) under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Munich. In 2022, she obtained the Polish national title of Specialist in dogs and cats.
Since June 2022, she has been a member of the board of the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR). She is the author of numerous publications on dog and cat reproduction. She actively participates in numerous veterinary conferences in Poland and abroad.
Her scientific interest includes mainly canine mammary gland tumors, canine infertility, theriogenology and assisted reproduction.
