Dr Russo is a health psychologist and a research fellow at the School of Medicine and Surgery, University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. Her primary focus lies in advancing health communication and promoting behaviour changes in both general and clinical populations. Dr. Russo's research includes medical education, where she advocates for cultivating empathy and enhancing communication and interpersonal skills among healthcare students. She works to prioritise the mental wellbeing of these future healthcare providers, ensuring they are equipped not only with medical knowledge but also with the resilience and competencies needed for their own holistic health and success in providing care.
