Ilona Kaszak, DVM graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Poland in 2015. Immediately after graduating, she started working in numerous animal treatment facilities in Warsaw and the surrounding area, and in October 2016, she started doctoral studies at the KNOW Integrated Doctoral School at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She completed her studies in 2019. Since September 2019, she is working at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in the Small Animal Reproduction Division as a research and teaching assistant. In 2019, she also started the European Animal Reproduction Residency (ECAR) under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Munnich. In 2022, she obtained the title of polish specialist of dogs and cats diseases. Since June 2022, she is a member of the board of the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR) and currently also EVSSAR treasurer. She is the author of numerous publications on dog and cat reproduction. She actively participates in numerous veterinary conferences in Poland and abroad.
